The Tillamook thread got me hungry. I‘m a sucker for a good sandwich who makes a stellar Reuben in Oregon, not easy to find in the Eugene area that I know of? Thanks
Not too far from Vernonia...Now that’s a first, where is Pittsburg, Oregon or did I just swallow the hook?
I grew up in Pittsburgh,PA and made many a late night run down to the strip district to Primanti brothers. It was open super late and about the only place to get something good at 1am!That would be Pittsburgh PA, or Penciltucky.
Interesting but will do, thanks!Try the Lamb Pastrami Reuben at Agate Alley in Eugene

A minimal amount of dressing is acceptable. I just try to not think about it being ketchup stirred into mayonnaise with a little pickle relish. Yuck.I do include the thousand island dressing but an important addition is some Beaver Extra Hot horseradish.
I do like the thousand island sauce but the additional Beaver layer sounds like the cats a**!I do include the thousand island dressing but an important addition is some Beaver Extra Hot horseradish.
