You might think about writing an article for one of the major newspapers. I don’t follow the news but I bet whatever is being reported isn’t being presented from your perspective.

What news story ever is Dog?This UkrainIan “war” is just a complete sh-t show. There are no winner's here. Only the war machine and the war pigs profits off of this complete insanity. When will humanity ever learn of the folly of war? I think never.:(🇺🇸

Had a family member ( 23 year old girl) killed in the last attack on the city of Ismael ( 50 miles away) a few days ago and we're driving there for the funeral today. My wife's oldest brother also lives there so we'll visit him while there. Last night's attack was on Odessa again (139 miles away) .it's still 6:30 AM here so haven't seen the news yet. With Putin realizing that Trumps not going to do a dam thing the nightly attacks have really ramped up.

Get back in one piece Plugs!
I hope so, there should be a October lower river mop up on the coho and I hope I won't have to dodge nets all day like last year!!!

Now for " The rest of the Story" The family member Katie Boychenko was killed in Ismael as the result of a drone hitting a transport truck with the driver also being killed and the truck out of control slammed into my wife's niece while she was crossing the street killing her instantly.
To her father that follows me here and on FB

Pavel Boychenko, Raisa and I send our sincere condolences and we pray God will grant you and the family with the grace of peace, comfort and strength knowing Katie has gone to a better place and is surrounded with love both here on earth and in Heaven.

1st day since we've been here it wont be 90 degrees today but man what a humid steam bath so far today. Woke up to a light rain and cloudy skies for the 1st time. It'll be another day in the dentist chair for me today and I'm hoping the last 1.
😁
the plan this morning was to go fishing but woke up to pouring down rain so I'm just sitting here tying up some bait fish flies for tomorrow until time for me to leave for the dentist

After attending a 2nd funeral and While I was fishing yesterday evening Russia had sent drones here in the Danube Delta and Romania sent their jets right outside here in Kiliya to intercept them. They were just out of eyesight but still close enough they were very loud like load enough you could feel the sound. I was within eyesight of 6 other fishermen and we were all standing around looking up in the air and looking at each other at the same time like *** do we do now moment. True combat fishing in the 2nd. degree.
I did catch another Jerry fish just before the jets showed up. After that it was just a little bit to spooky to pay attention to what I was doing. I heard today that the Romanians shot down 4 drones which I think was B S cause Romania say's the F-16's lost track of the drones on their news channel

You got that right!! I've already been to 2 funerals and have another one to attend in a few days.
I know this should probably be posted in "Life in General" but Dog asked for a article on what I'm seeing from my perspective. As much as I'd like to do that, out of respect to the families and the people of Ukraine and what they are going through I won't do that. I will however report today's news that Russia says they are at war with NATO but NATO has not invoked Article 5 and declared war as of 7:15 PM Tues. night anyhow.
Today's News as reported here and the EU today
Putin spokesman makes chilling WW3 comments as NATO 'at war with Russia'
The Kremlin spokesman’s claim of a de facto war between Moscow and NATO comes as the alliance scrambled jets after Russian drone violations over Poland and Romania.
"NATO is at war with Russia," Dmitry Peskov told Russian state media on Monday. "This is obvious, and it does not require any additional evidence. NATO provides direct and indirect support to the Kyiv regime." Peskov's comments reiterated a familiar Kremlin narrative that Western backing of Ukraine amounts to active participation in the conflict.
Tensions soared last week between NATO’s Eastern European allies and Russia. A total of 19 Russian drones flew over Poland overnight on Wednesday, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said, adding that at least three were shot down by Polish and NATO aircraft.
"This situation brings us the closest we have been to open conflict since World War Two," Tusk warned. The incident marked the first time Russian drones were downed over NATO territory since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine began in February 2022.
In response to the incursion, Warsaw invoked NATO's Article 4 on Thursday, which calls for discussions among allies over threats to territorial security. This is a step short of Article 5, which requires collective military defence from allies if a member state is attacked. Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski described the drone attacks as a test of the alliance's resolve by Russia.
Just days later, on Saturday, a Russian drone entered Romanian airspace during an attack on Ukraine. Bucharest scrambled two F-16 fighter jets, which, along with two German Eurofighter Typhoons, tracked the drone for 50 minutes over NATO territory before it headed towards Ukrainian airspace, according to Romania's Defense Ministry.
The Russian ambassador to Bucharest was summoned in protest over what Romanian Foreign Minister Oana Toiu called a "violation of Romania's sovereignty". The UK Foreign Office also condemned Russia's "unprecedented violation" of Polish and Romanian airspace, branding the incursions "utterly unacceptable".
In an interview with Channel 4 News, Sir Keir Starmer said: “That is the right thing to do. The wrong thing to do would be to ignore this increased aggression from [Russian President Vladimir] Putin, from Russia. Because this wasn’t a one-off. You saw only a few weeks ago the bombing of the British Council in Kyiv, the attacking of the EU embassy, and the direct hits on the Council of Ministers in Kyiv itself.” He added: “It’s absolutely clear that the Russians are ramping up the aggression. It’s very important that, with our NATO allies, we respond appropriately to that and that’s what we’re doing today.”

Putin is out of his ever lovin mind and has lost total touch with reality. He can't even take Ukraine and he's trying to push NATO into finish taking down his country.
Russia’s 2025 summer offensive has collapsed, leaving more than 210,000 Russian casualties between May and August, according to Ukraine’s General Staff. Despite massive assaults across Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Pokrovsk, Chasiv Yar, Lyman, Kupiansk, and Sumy, Moscow failed to capture key territory. Reports from Kyiv Post, BBC, Forbes, and United24 confirm that the campaign ended with almost no gains.
Analysts say Russia has lost 1,200 tanks, over 2,100 armored vehicles, and 7,300 artillery systems in 2025 alone, while gaining only one-third of one percent of Ukrainian territory. Ukrainian counter attacks and fortified defenses turned Russia’s “decisive summer” into a costly failure,
