I searched for recent posts on this but didn't find anything. Does G Loomis have a new warranty program? When did it go into effect?
I've got a reel seat on a FR 1088 GL3 that has come loose (reel rotates in relation to rod/eyes). Seems like a no-brainer warranty repair. I realize I'll have to pay shipping to get it there.
Now they require that rods be registered within 30 days and receipt uploaded? I've got a bunch of G Loomis rods. Don't have receipts and can't remember exactly where I purchased. Some rods are 25+ years old. I've had a few warranty repairs with them before and it was always great service. Never had to do this before
I contacted customer service with my questions. We'll see how it goes......
