Well that was a quick easy morning. 2 coho in the box and 2 lost. A bit breeze and rainy but not to bad. Home in the driveway 11:00 straight up. Only 3 trailers in the lot when I put in and only 6 when I left, total shocker.
26 ft. Of water. 27 on the line counter.
1st fish on a sloppy 2 nds. Shortbus 360. 24 inch bumper. Hot Tomalie Super Bait and Garlic Bloody Tuna. 2nd fish and the 2 lost were on Rotten Banana both original skinnies. All 4 bites going up hillk

Like riding a bike...

Nice 1 Chris, I see you got a hook nose one too. That was the 1st time I have got 1 with a hook nose on the big river and not a trib. Was there very many people fishing up there? There was almost no one out of Willow this morning. Seems to be a bit of fish out there still.

I fished a couple different areas, never saw more than two other boats fishing within sight. The fish checker said mine was # 5 he’d checked by 2 pm.

One more of the prettiest fish of this fall for me.

The Columbia was 64F today. Caught a glorious sunrise photo of a friend in his boat - looks like pink shock waves - and he’s the bullet.

Though the weather was much better than yesterday, the overall action was not. There were a lot more weeds today. Fishing two rods we got a jack and a couple few other bites.

We trolled little and ate homemade pizza as the sun reclined from an 80 degree October day. No fish.
