Why not have diamond hands on that one? I went to sports mans warehouse last weekend and bought 2 boxes of twenty gauge shot gun shells. Had three boxes, they would only let me buy 2. No 9 mm, no 22 long shot. Sales rep. there told me customers are getting heated every morning when they put the inventory on the shelfs.

I bought a bunch of poww Monday morning. Who knows, looking good so far. Helped blunt my loss on AMC today.

Anytime I can take an approx 50% gain on a volatile up and down stock that is close to a 52 week high, I will. Just my 2 cents.

Like Cramer said today, it's not worth anything until you sell it.
52 week high is almost 50% higher than today’s close. Lots of room to run.

If POWW delivers, I think their value as an acquisition is well over the current price. And I have reason to believe that is their plan. ;)
Who do you think the target buyer is? Vista seems to stand out as an option..

Vista certainly seems like a possibility. I'll ask my info source and see what I can find out. What's your strategy on vista? Announcing pre-market tomorrow. Sell today, sell tomorrow, hold?

Looks like POWW is doing well today... should've jumped on yesterday... shoulda woulda coulda.

I'm going to cash out my options tomorrow if they run hard enough and scale back my holdings to take profit..

So many sectors are flat ripping right now that I don't think I'll get the swing growth long term in VSTO I'm looking for.

I'll keep a couple hundred shares in my 401k, I'll scale out of my position in my swing/active trading account..

I may slip back into POWW, I sold my last bunch at a loss to redeploy capital in AMC for that swing.

I'm looking for 20% + per investment with a hold no longer than 14 days. Ideally less than 5.

To do that you have to be willing to take small losses from as well to redeploy capital.

I've somehow gone all week and not bought anything. I tend to really slow down when there's too much hype/talk surrounding the markets.

That said... I'm a little annoyed with Vanguard right now. I transferred money last week from my bank, and it won't be available until Friday (even though it's already been debited from my bank account). Apparently with all the hype of the last few weeks, and with people feeling RobinHood, they decided to start enforcing a hold on new funds transferred via ACH. A bit of a bummer for those of us who have been on Vanguard for years. Had I known, I would've used a wire instead of a standard ACH.

Perhaps this would have been a more helpful contribution than sell sell sell. Sure glad I didn't sell sell sell for a 50% gain a year ago. Not everyone is a day trader.

To a cash or margin account? If a margin account they should credit your account as soon as they send the ACH request, assuming you initiated the ACH from your broker's side. Initiated from your bank is a whole different animal. In my Fidelity margin account I see the cash credit as soon as I hit the 'send' button for an ACH transfer from my bank even though the actual cash won't come through for a couple days.

Initiated on the broker side. Same way I've always done it. This is something they just started doing in the last week. Never had this issue before. Did a search around the intertubes and found a Reddit thread from yesterday where others were experiencing the same change. The money is there, they just have a hold on it for 1wk. Not excited about that change.

I am relatively new (1-2yrs) and just found this thread a few days ago.
What are thoughts, if any on OCGN?

Do you have enough money in your account to apply for margin? I got a margin account just so that I can have funds available immediately. I don’t trade on margin, but it lets me trade without having to worry about settlement periods. And if I move money from my checking account, its available to trade with immediately.

Honestly never looked in to it because I wasn't looking to trade on margins. Since this wasn't an issue until now, I hadn't checked on that. I'll see what I can do there. Apparently doing a wire can get things available much quicker as well.
