Love a good Reuben, can't stand thousand island dressing. Make mine with mustard, yellow or spicy ground, thank you very much.

 

I do include the thousand island dressing but an important addition is some Beaver Extra Hot horseradish.

 

A minimal amount of dressing is acceptable. I just try to not think about it being ketchup stirred into mayonnaise with a little pickle relish. Yuck.

Horseradish for sure though.

Another vote for NaNas Irish pub in Newport. There was a place in Lebanon that made a spicy one with Kimchi instead of sourcrout. It made for a nice change from the traditional. The point in Sweethome does a respectable job and serves the dressing on the side for those that don't care for it.
