If the kids want to take you to the vet “for a checkup,” don’t go.
our saying is look at the beautiful sunset. if you’re not ready to go duck. because the flat shovel is coming at the back your head

What ever they propose, make sure it includes being fully healed by May. I'll be talking to you in the meantime. Take care!
I know the only problem with that plan Don is. I have a nine month old black lab due for about 60 plus days of duck hunting this year. probably not gonna work out real well. I don’t understand it. I’m 65. I go like I’m 35 and I heal like I’m 105. The doc asked me what the limit was on them tuna. I told him 25. And you haven’t lived till you gone out and caught a limit by yourself. I’m surprised he didn’t roll me right to the psych ward.

I know what if feels like, and I'm 8 years older. It's like I hit my experation date this year. But I"m back, if at a slower pace. I have zero doubt that you will be too, we just need to make an adjustment or two as we go along. F**k aging gracefully.

You had a shoulder replaced? Curious to hear your tale on that one. I have two crappy ones and someday will have to go down that road, but for this gym boy it'd be a life changing event, so putting it off until I can't move. Right now my biggest limitation is range of motion, or the lack thereof. I have to be careful which weightlifting things I do at the gym to keep from aggravating them too much, otherwise I get around pretty good.

You got a pup and place with interest to go along for kicks and giggles then I have a 30 year old son totally open to helping you out on all areas. He would love to have someone along with spots, run your pup and have you along to make sure he is doing things right. He is not afraid to drive to where good people want to get ducks. He is missing the Lake Champlain duck hunts...wading through mud, up in the middle of the night, etc. Seriously he would totally hunt with you hurt and follow your lead. pm me and I will connect you two. He drives truck and has lots of sick days that haven't been used....

Hopefully you've already figured out fixed bar bench press is very tough on your shoulders..dumb bells are much better..they allow your shoulders to move independently and find that spot that works for each shoulder..each one has a different sweet spot.

Wondered why the crabbin got better. Then I saw your gear stacked behind the boat. Get better soon so you can hunt on sumbitch ridge this fall. I'm there most weekends. Let me know if I can help over at fishcamp.

I'm just being a smart-as* here as that's what I am. Please take no offense as this is just an attempt at my warped sense of humor.

But....

Would a Seakeeper have helped negate some of these problems?

Hope you heal quickly. I'm looking at the hip thing. Would like to to by-pass the steroid injection step and just go for new. I've already done the PT step.

Hey My gear is still in the water. Feel free to run it and pull it for the season if you want I’m obviously not going to be able to. It’s either sacrificial or somebody else pulls it for me. Thank you.

appreciate the offer, but we’re a little more laid-back than that. Boat hunters, show up a half hour before shoot light toss a dozen decoys murder Ducks. it’s a problem with me being able to actually stand Walk or move at this point.

P.S. if you’re a Duck Hunter or outdoorsman of any kind, you probably know it’d be more successful to ask to bone my old lady than know where I duck hunt or fish. Lol

John, can you move enough to get into an ice bath..you may get a bit of relief from 3 or 4 minutes submerged..it really help when I was almost unable to walk..
No one to carry the ice I have the ice machine. I have the bathtub. bathtubs upstairs can’t get there. Can’t lift the ice you know.

Manage to reschedule MRI from 21 of October 29 September just have to figure out how to get to Salem didn’t want to travel that far but I can’t endure this pain for six more weeks before I even get to the MRI. Good news is thats on a Monday. I know a gal who gets Mondays and Tuesdays off, that I just addicted to fishing. so if she wants her skipper fixed, take him to the MRI.

If you have to apologize before making a joke. It's not funny.
Or…

It‘s funny but he’s a big sissy overly concerned about his impact.
