My thanks to all of you for your replies. I think it's just another one of my excuses for new adventures(as if i needed another excuse) rather than the hopes of getting rich. As with most adventures I've spent time around in the outdoors, I think the hunt will be even better then the find:idea:

Those might be old Cinnabar (Mercury) Mines. Lots of those lost back in the hills of Oregon...
