Heck of a deal if we can't trust the numbers, I really wish OSP would work that issue a little more, but I don't know if it is really an issue either. A few big fines that nonsense would be gone.

 

It pushed them right into their gun safe and favorite deer rifle is what it did last year. Know a lot of folks that normally archery hunt blacktails, that saw the rifle dates last year, and went right to the safe.

I'm sure the data is largely accurate in terms of harvest, but also likely it's less accurate when it comes to number of hunters/days hunted/etc on the reports. Just something worth acknowledging. But from 22 to 23 it appears general rifle harvest nearly doubled, late archery nearly halved.

 

it would be interesting to see if there was an uptick in nonresident hunters from 22 to 23. i heavily considered buying a non res tag for last years season since its prime rut time.
