Top wage after accreditation: $50,000 to $120,000

Work in the construction industry is extremely unpredictable. You may be needed to work 5 hours one week, and then 55 hours the next week, and then 25-30 for the next five weeks, and then have two weeks off. That would be a typical example of construction worker hours. Unpredictable.
On the up side, your pay is usually (AFTER you have attained the proper skills and license) double, triple, quadruple minimum wage.
Only someone who is consciences of personal money management should apply.
I can estimate your first year take home would be a gross pay of $36,000 if you come in with no experience whatsoever and a good attitude.
I can guarantee, if you have a great attitude, are physically fit, and achieve all legal licensing and accreditation, you can earn upwards of $100,000 per year in this field. Or, $50 to $100 per hour.
Clean driver’s license.
Has own transportation.
Physical fitness test – (non discriminatory – exact same requirement applies to both sexes).
Starting wage: $20/hr.
Beginning job duties:
Cleaning and organizing a work truck with inventory.
Digging holes.
Carrying tools, crawling in crawlspaces.
Taking classes for accreditation.
Talking extremely respectfully to complete strangers on a job site.
Early training: Unclogging drains. Removing and reinstalling toilets. Water heater install training. Outdoor drain maintenance. Sheetrock repair. More digging. Light landscaping. Forgetting all the ******** you thought you knew, and doing it the exact way prescribed in the company guidelines.
This a dirty job that requires a physical skillset, along with problem solving.

PM if interested.

We are having a really hard time this charter season finding captains. Between injuries, seizures, drug tests, duis and general incompetence we really need some charter captains up here.

Hard work. Long days. Pay averages 20-30k for the 2 months left of the season.

Please email me if you have your captains license need help to start right away.

Absolutely beautiful up there... it's sad that it's so hard to get good qualified help nowadays. Never forget the night I was on the bridge of an oil tanker coming in to Homer to pick up the pilot at the pilot station and the difficult time we had finding the pilot boat because of a crazy 24-hour crab season going on. The water was lit up like high noon in the middle of the night. It was blinding work chaos.

On my bucket list to go back up there and fish some day instead of just work!

Yes.. it’s really bad. My employer is also looking for hardworking, healthy crew for his 50 foot commercial boat(s) fishing for halibut, black cod.. stacking out his crab pots and tuna fishing. Knowledge of commercial fishing a plus and knowledge of boat mechanics a plus-plus!
Cal 503-338-9215 or contact me via private message. He’s hard to get ahold of as he’s doing all the work right now.

Hey guys,

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but my old man (KwikKarl - RIP) was a long time active member here so thought I would reach out to the ifish community and see if anyone might know someone who would be interested in this opportunity?

I own a log home company in Sisters, OR (yes, the one off HWY 20 with the crane) and we're in need of some like minded folks to join the team!

We build/restore/remodel beautiful, hand-crafted, custom log homes and are currently working on a new reality TV show with ROKU that'll have us doing more projects in shorter time frames. (Hence why we need more A-players on the team over the next couple months)

We need everything from log peelers, and restoration technicians to full on log builders! Experience is obviously a plus (especially with a chainsaw) but not entirely needed as we will train for each position.

They would need to be local to Central Oregon or willing to relocate and not scared of hard work! We pay very well and offer full benefits.

I won't bore you with too many details here, just thought it would be smart to seek referrals from folks like yourselves that are cut from the same cloth we are!

If you or anyone you know might be interested in joining the team, please reach out and we will connect and if you have any questions feel free to ask!

Who here can do scarf joints really well? I am going to be getting some 1x2 and some 1x3 white oak, they do not have them in the length I need for my boat in one piece. I need to find someone who can scarf them together to make the length I need. I will pay $$$ to have this done, but I need you to be fairly close to the lincoln city area, or at least within say 40 miles.
