Thanks bud. I've heard of google. I'm looking for suggestions from people with good experiences with their choice, I'm not looking for a comprehensive list of the options available.

Check your local truck stops. I've seen some fairly inexpensive options that plug into your 12v outlet.

walmart sells a cheap 12v fan that works fine. and also can order a small 12v fan heater window defroster but they put out little heat as too much and your fuse or wiring wont take it.

 

If your boat is outside a windshield cover will help.

 

Boat lives in a garage - the issue is in the winter when I put the heat on in the cabin and we all breathe inside, we get condensation on the windows. In the summer sometimes there is condensation if I moor up overnight.

Based on some recommendations, I went with a small heater/defogger they sell at west marine. Should do the trick in the winter when my windows fog.

they put out a little heat. a 110 volt heater like you plug in at home puts out over 5,ooo btu as opposed to the 12volt you have that puts out 330 btu.

thats why the 12v. plug in fan which puts out much more moving air is the ticket.
