They lowered the life boat down for a quick run around. Also the same ship that was in the dry dock last week had all its window wipers flapping away on a sunny day. Must be doing final systems check before departing.

this was actually at the Port of Los Angeles. thats one crazy engineer!!

we saw the Mercy in the ocean on final approach to the mouth while digging clams, pretty cool sight to see on the horizon.

The Guadalupe!!! I have been in that boat when it’s been in port. It is definitely a working boat.

 

Christensen has their new Super Yacht "Jackpot" parked between I 5 and 205. 164' and I think listed for $35m.....


I need different parents.LOL

 

I worked at Christensen Motor Yacht back in 89-90 building those things. They are very cool boats.... but the prices have gone up considerably. The ones I worked on were from 115- 130’ in length in the 6-7 million dollar price range back then.
