Loyalty cuts both ways in the sports world. If a coach can put himself in an advantageous position to improve employment or to meet monetary or professional goals you make the move. Control what you can control. If you have a down year your going to get fired. I have no angst regarding a coach moving on. Though not a coaching professional I moved around in my professional career as opportunities presented themselves and have no remorse.
We get emotionally involved with sports so it always hurts a bit more when your "good" coach moves on. Should mention I have been a Raider fan for 60+ years. (y)

I like seeing what might be happening with the Raiders.

Been a Raiders fans since the George Blanda days. Plenty of exciting times over the years with amazing players.
But since the days after Jim Plunkett, and Al Davis passing, the Raiders have really never lifted my spirits much.

Would sure be nice see them make us long time Raiders fans excited again.

I was on the Pierce bandwagon and I thought he brought allot of positivity with great energy that was desperately needed after a worthless Mcdaniels run. Unfortunately his coaching was lacking and the team suffered. I think the Carrol decision as well as Kelly is a step in the right direction in having a coaching staff that have great football minds !!

Day seems to be happy for his friend. Helping Raiders win should be a challenge. Maybe he just wants to live in a warm place again.;)
