I've been a Duck fan since I moved here in the 80's, and that's as good as it gets. Will the Ducks meet the Buck's again in the BIG CCG?
Some Oregon boys had big time games. Tuioti , Boetcher and Herbert from Eugene, Sappington, Winston and Lowe from PDX. And both these teams have huge NIL budgets, so don't even go there. Highlights to follow!

OOps, I didn't see 2 other CFB threads. . Nobody likes thread hackers, but that wasn't just any ol game.

Go Ducks!

Imo, Lanning is still learning as a HC, but he's a great team guy and recruiter, turned down Bama. TAM and Auburn, so I guess he's ours.
Dillion is very poised. The part where he asks James Crepea (sp) of the Oregonian how he was feeling. He's (James) a Buckeye Alum.... You have to watch to the end.

Lots of past Duck’s games were fun to watch when they’d blow out the other team. This game took it to another level. Truly exciting. Was watching it with the neighbor as he and his wife was over for dinner. Said to him early on, ya know, the Ducks could win this thing. Despite each team keeping pace with the other I thought the Ducks were playing better. Team attitude was certainly a factor.

Take that Crepea, lol. Didn't know he was a buck nut.
Gabe is a really good guy. It shows in al lhis interviews, And what he lacks for in height for short throws over the middle he makes up with his long ball accuracy.
I checked the box score and Gabe was the number 1 QB is passing AND rushing yards compared to Ohio State's Howard. Stewart was the no 1 WR compared to OSU's All Americans, and James was the number 1 RB in the stat line. Everyone calls tOSU "RB U, WR U, QB U" yada yada...not last night. Quack!
Will they meat again in the Biggie champ game?

Stats reveal trends in November as teams have navigated a season, not so much after 5 games with cupcakes sprinkled in. This game revealed a little of that and that Oregon played well.
Another thing about Dillion yesterday was his pocket awareness - zero sacks recorded. A credit to him and the O-line.

I was a Duck fan in the 70's when they lost as often as it rained on game day in Eugene. It was a great game to experience. Even better that I work with a handful of Buckeye fans. Looking forward to Monday's trash talkin!

I was amazed by how many Ohio State fans were in attendance, as well as how nice both sides were to each other. I saw a lot of good natured ribbing, followed by a lot of smiles, fist bumps, and high fives.

Noise level was as high as I’ve ever heard. There was no end to it. Best stadium I can think of for the fan involvement and influence!

Place went off the hook when the final second rolled off the clock. What a night!

And then I drove through the night to San Diego to go fishing….

What an awesome game, and without our best defensive end and one of our best receivers who rightfully got booted for spitting on the visor of the ohio state corner. What the heck was he thinking? I couldn't believe it. Hope lanning has some special punishment for him.

Great game.

As for the spitting. Off the team permanently. Shows character. Not what you want in a player no matter how good athletically.

As to the OP title.....
Tied

Saturdays game was just as exciting as this game I was at.
Oregon 34-33 Oklahoma (Sep 16, 2006) Final Score - ESPN

We just could not stop Adrian Peterson from running for over 200 yards but hung in there to win it.
I think the come from behind l, last seconds win vs OK was a bit more nerve racking.

But this Ohio State game was legendary. Wish I was there in person to see it.
Amazing game to see on the Boob tube too.
Go Ducks!

Just don’t watch the replay of the insides kick. I’m sure Bob Stoops still sees it in his nightmares.

No excuse for spitting on a face shield, but the OSU kid should have been hit with unsportsmanlike conduct for pushing Holden out of bounds when he the play was dead. Time to get used to B1G ref's where taunting and ($*%& talking junk will get you a flag.
The OSU player deserved one too. HE played Holden I'm sure Lanning had had that talk, but in the heat of the moment, in street ball Holden would have clocked him instead.
Rewatch the play, DZ and you will see what I mean. OSU's DB's were shoving UO WR's oob through the entire game. Discipline is a rare commodity in such a heated environment.

I've seen over twenty years worth of games at Autzen, that place was rocking loud with the best of games. Truly exciting to be in attendance. I new that Ohio State traveled well, but in all my years I have not seen an opposing team attend as much as the Buckeyes. Must have been ALOT of season ticket holders cash in!!!
