Same in Aloha. Came in last Friday. Prices were pretty good.

 

What's a "good price"? I have been thinking about it. Looked at the selection at Cabelas the other day was discouraged with prices in the $600 range.

 

I wish someone would help them with presentation of them. I walked into the Roseburg one and they were literally piled in the case. All laying down and stacked on top of each other.... other than that prices where what they should be. More guns :flag2:

 

The store in Bend was that way for a few days. When I went back they had some simple but effective display racks. The guy behind the counter said they got the guns before the display racks and didn't want to wait to get them out.

Price wise I thought the were OK but not amazing. I can find a slightly better selection at Freds with about half ofthe guns on sale at any given time. I'm sure Bimart will put onsome sales that'll level the field. Definitely one of my favorite places to shop.

I always appreciated they had a versatile selection of long guns.

 

Mostly black and plastic. I have checked out a couple of stores and there has been no stainless, revolvers, or single actions.

They used to sell them and then they discontinued. I bought a beautiful Smith and Wesson stainless revolver there about 20 years ago and now it's
worth about 3X what I paid for it!

 

This is great news. I used to buy them at the Eugene BiMart in the 1970s and '80s. One of my favorite retailers.

 

Newberg has a dozen or so revolvers and probably 40 or so semi autos
from remington to sig, ruger, browning, smith&wesson, taurus i was quite
pleased at their selection and pricing, I see many impulse buys in my future

 

Gresham Bi-Mart has sig, Glock, S&W, Taurus, and Ruger. Multiple wheel guns too.

 

For those of you close to a Coastal Farm and Ranch, check out there new sporting goods section. They put bi-mart to shame on guns and accessories....prices are low too.....

 

Is that right? I looked at some ammo there a while ago and it was no bargain.

 

Bi Mart has prices that beat most of the local shops - but they don't have the selection. The lady at Forest Grove told me that they aren't set up to order pistols that are not regularly stocked like they can with rifles. She wasn't sure when they would be able to order any pistol you might desire.

They are selling Smith & Wesson Shields for $374 NIB - which beats the other "local" options. Sportman's Warehouse normal price is $389 - which is about what I've seen in dedicated gun shops - some gun shops being $400+

Their price on new Glocks for instance is consistent - 4th gen guns are going for $549.

I've seen a few stainless guns - Ruger Sr1911s for example (under $700 if you're wanting one) - couple stainless wheel guns. Their pistol selection may be small, but it's sure nice to see them get back into that game.

 

The person that was behind the counter at my local Bi-mart said they'd order what handguns they could.

Yeah the handgun selection at Coastal Farm is better than some gun shops. Very uneducated staff though, and reloading section is almost nothing.

 

Good for BiMart! I haven't checked yet to see if our store in Grants Pass has them in stock Hope they do

There prices must not be pretty competitive, the manager at the Lebanon Bi-Mart said several of the stores around have been averaging 20 handguns a week. It took them a few weeks but he said he is on track for that the last week or so. The M&P they had there was cheaper then Cabelas regular price by a quite a bit.

Im glad I read this last week. Cabelas had the GI Rock Island 1911's on sale for $369 or $50 off the higher priced models. Of course they never had any in stock to begin with but I was foaming at the mouth for one so I checked Fishermans and NW Armory, no luck. I remembered reading this thread so I checked the Tigard BiMart and they had a single GI Rock Island 1911, the display model for $429. The manager did a price match so I got it for $379. The Cabelas ad didn't include any model numbers so he would only do the $50 off stated in the ad. Either way I was happy. My truck would have burned up the difference in gas driving to Cabelas if they did have them.

 

I did my happy dance when I saw that! Good selection too!

Was just in the Albany coastal this Morning. You might want to check it out before you start casting stones. I was pretty impressed with there inventory considering what they used to have.

Does anybody know if bi mart will price match? Just purchased a Ruger LC9s 9mm from bi mart and found out fisherman's has them for a significantly cheaper price .. I usually check things out pretty good but screw this one up. Is there a way to get the savings or do I just pout and be satisfied.

In the past two years, my number one source for new fire arms has been Gun Genie. If you know what your looking for, check their pricing. Locally two of the participating retailers are normally about 10 to 15% less than factory suggested wholesale pricing such equates to 30 to 35% less than retail Two of my purchases were substantial less than the suggested factory's suggested distributor pricing. (IE, my purchase price was way under 60% of suggested retail.) Suggested factory retail price for most firearms is 24%. Wholesaler factory suggested margins are 20%.

 

I use Gun Deals which gets you into a wider network than GG.
However, if Bimart has what I want, I will shop there.
I'd like to see "The Northwest's General Store" stick around for a long time.

 

I agree on keeping the local guys around. Spur of the moment impulses can easily be satisfied. Bimart is a great place to shop and generally have great prices from what I see.

 

Well it's now confirmed with a phone call to Bi mart. NO price matching on fire arms. Guess I can't complain the every day price is cheaper than any other local vendors I have found, and impulse buying is fun till you second guess your self. There will always be a better deal some where..

I purchased a Weatherby Vanguard II a couple years ago, and agreed to pay their full price, but the manager gave me a 90 day window, in case they put it on sale. Didn't happen, but sealed the deal for me. 4 shots from a hundred yards first time out-Hornady SST 130 grain.

 

DB that looks like a deal maker !
