Well someone has to do it
And judging by the amount of tuna I saw at the dock in Newport yesterday, it's time to start this. With my little boat and my experience level I probably won't be adding much to this. So let's roll boys and girls!
I planned on 44.47 124.04 so this is spot on for what I was cpu ting on. We should have a killer day! Thanks for the report! Nice to see my brain is on track with the tuners! We fished Saturday 7/26 in the area SW of Hydrate Ridge (317 spot) in and around 44°43.363'N / 125°15.793'W. We arrived at 7:30 am and had 25 on board by 10:45 am.
The high performers were Mexican Flag and pink. The grade was good with a few pigs in the mix.
Water temp on arrival was just over 60 degrees. I think we over ran the fish by at least a few miles. Sonar showed lots of fish in the top 20 feet of the water column. We left fish when we had more than our goal.
Go get em!
