I imagine this rain will push the existing fish up to the top of tidewater now, not sure how many more will come in behind to refill the area.

Thoughts?
I’m hearing that quite a few guides that have been trolling the lower bays and lower tidewater are preparing for bobber ā€˜n egg season. The rivers have cooled, salmon have moved slightly upriver, but it’s still not over for those fishing in the lower part of the systems. The coho still haven’t really poured into the rivers, so we still have 3-weeks or so to go. Light rain isn’t doing much of anything, we just don’t want to see a rain event that blows out the rivers; otherwise, it’s game over and the fish will shoot up the rivers! šŸ’”

Nice set of eggs there. I typically don't use borax, but last year did some like you show and intend to use them for drift fishing in faster water to see if they hang on better. For bobber fishing, I stick with Wizard cure and slamola.
