If you have not used Mikes reel Repair to have a reel serviced or repaired yet.. You should. Super great service at a great price. I took the time to chat with Mike after I picked up my Shimano Calcutta earlier today. The owner (Mike) worked for Diawa and Shimano for many years in fishing reel design. We are all very lucky to have this resource here locally and I would urge Portland folks to spread the word. Mike's work is top notch, been promoting him for a while now. We are lucky to have him so close!
Mike Wardian is the best when it comes to service/repair/upgrade reels, he's been my goto guy for anything fishing reel related. Had all my reels serviced and drag washer upgrades from him a few weeks ago and he told me he's retiring so he can spend more time fishing with his grandkids and family. Catch him while you can
