Ok I just want some input here. I am wondering if I should wire brush my inside bilge area of my boat or sandblast it. I have a electralasys problem and these are the two choices that i was told that i could to get rid of the corrosin on the inside bottom floor of my bilge area of my boat. I already had my boat rewired and zinced. So now i am down to the last item on how to get rid of the corrosin.

I would suggest soda blast too! I used to work in aluminum and the soda blast works best along with walnut shell. Wire brushing is a lot of work and not the best way to go on aluminum.

Soda or media blast. Wire wheel should never be an option when working with aluminum. The wire will embed its self in the aluminum. The wire will rust and leave cross contamination.

Another vote for blasting it. A lot less work and more effective. I'd go with soda or walnut shells before silica (sand or glass bead).
