Anyone fished the Wilson lately? I was thinking about making a trip over Friday morning and was interested in any reports people may want to share. Thank you, BM

Hey BM,

I also was thinking about heading over there on Friday. I will be driving a black T100. If you happen to see me, stop in and say hi. I haven't heard any reports as of yet, hopefully your post will get some replies. Clean it eary, clean it often.

There are numerous summer steelhead scattered in the upper river. The lower water temperatures (52 degrees last week) will bring the lethargic fish to life.

The Wilson is currently running at 1.98 feet, which is still nearly at the summer water levels. It did jump up to about 2.30 feet a couple days ago, but we still need a good rain to get good numbers of fish in the river. Best fishing levels are between 4-6 feet.

You'll probably have better luck in the tidewater stretches if you can't resist.

Good fishing!
