The Wilson is such a great winter steelead river, How is the Summer Run? Skamania Steelhead? I just recently heard about summers being caught in the river... News to me

Actually they are Siletz strain. The Wilson gets a decent run of summer steelhead that should be showing about any time.

Wilson Summers are very finnicky fish that spook real easily. Light line, smaller tackle.
