I fished the wilson the day before yesterday and found fish! lucky for me it was at my first spot.

I casted my float and as it hit the water I saw about 25 steelhead swoop down and circle into the deeper pool below the riffle. I was suprised to see that many fish right away. I finally coaxed one to hit a copper spinner#3. after a 4 cartwheel battle I was bleeding a 11# adi and vent clipped steelie. the already weary fish were for sure now spooked after that battle so I left to make it home in decent time for my fresh bbq dinner.

Where were you at in the river, I will be in Tilli. this weekend and I thought about dropping a line into one of the local rivers. The Wilson would be a good place to start to think. I will have some new FC Jigs to try out.
