Morning all,
Went to Tillamook this morning to pay a fine for getting to the fishing hole too fast earlier this month and just happened to have my gear with me...Stopped off at mp22 for a couple of casts as to not completely waste the trip and what do you know!...third cast...fish on. 10lb hatchery hen just bursting at the seams...I put her back to go about her business and called it a day.

Gear: Green half-fast spoon.
Technique: Fished like you would drift a corkie...minus the slinky.

Hey y'all,
Anyone know how high up the river springers go? I usually fish pretty high (mp18 and up) for steelies but would like to go after some springers this year...How far down will I have to go?
Thanks,
Spanky

I know the fall fish go all the way up to Elk Creek, but by the time they get all the way up there they are pretty dark.
