Where's a good place to buy a galvinized trailer ?

I want to replace my boat trailer, carrying my smoker craft.

My boat came with a galvanized ShoreLand'r trailer and I am very happy with it. I added boat guides, a spare tire carrier, and LED trailer lights. I think there is a dealer in the Portland area. Here is their web site: http://www.shorelandr.com/

I bought a galvanized E-Z Loader from Stevens (Milwaukie). No probs, other than the lights being wired backwards when it was delivered.

3 suggestions:

1. I got the swing tongue option on mine. Well worth it, IMHO.
2. Make sure the trailer is rated well beyond the weight of your boat, motor, and gear.
3. Stay away from King trailers.

Tricker Trailers in Lewiston Idaho. Simply the best, and when I got mine last year they were almost $600 cheaper than Stevens best price. They were also the only ones that would upgrade to electric brakes at the same price. I shopped for 7 months and compared everyone from Tricker to small mom and pop trailer companies, and the guys at Tricker gave me a great price for more trailer anyone else had.

I got to go with 1Pump. I have the Escort galv trailer with the swing tongue and it makes a world of distance in my crowded garage. It really saves on space.

I bought an EZ-Loader trailer from the Northwest Boat Center. They are located on N. Marine Drive just off I-5. They are an EZ-Loader dealer. They saved me over a $1,000 from what I was quoted by North River. The trailer from North River had brakes on only one axle, and the one I got has breaks on both. Both places qouted me the price for the same exact trailer.

I just took delivery of my dual axle, galvanized, electric braked, flush kitted Baker trailer. I replaced a single axle painted Baker that was about 8 yrs old.

I'm VERY pleased. I dealt with Ed Baker. He was on time and delivered what I wanted at a fair price.

Baker is still built one at a time. They are very durable, have real live diamond plate running boards that a fat boy like me can stand on and reach in the boat.

I recommend Baker of Springfield Oregon. Local family business.

There is a Tricker under my Thunder Jet. I pumped too much grease in the hubs, however, other then that a really nice, trouble free trailer.
