Couldn't decide this morning if I wanted an omelette or over easy eggs, so I combined the two and an english muffin with homemade pear butter from last fall.

That blackened salmon does look good........... any chance you would let me know the rub?
6 oz salmon
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons paprika
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon cayenne

Medium heat, cook until done.

Meatloaf, taters n asparagus, was half gone before I membered a pic. Must need to go fishing to get another springer to pair with the asparagus.

Tried my first Morels yesterday...Man they were good! Didn't have too much mushroom flavor per se, but the texture was amazing! Could eat those all day...

Tonight will be Mongolian Elk backstrap with sautéed Morels in butter/garlic/scallion.

Last night was Mongolian Elk. Sure was tasty...only ingredient I was missing was dark soy sauce...gives everything that real dark color. Can't seem to find it at the local Winco or Freddies. Corn syrup gives the meat a silk texture and a shine to everything. Good stuff.

Made CCW's tea bag rice. Paired it with lingcod, used fresh rosemary on both, pan fried the ling in bacon grease with garlic. Added the chopped bacon and chanterelles to some brussel sprouts. All with a little tie in of rosemary, garlic, lemon, bacon. Delicious 😋
