Went again to Westport on Sunday and Monday and it was very rough, made the mistake of getting a late start and crossed the bar at near max ebb. Had the boat almost straight up twice, no turning around in that stuff. Well we made it safely and started fishing, it was kinda scratch fishing, lots of blackmouth with the largest in the teens, but did manage to scrape out a 37 pounder. We did catch a few nice silvers though. Limits were there to be had.....even if it did take all day to get some nice ones.

Here is a 17 pound silver caught by Todd , my fishing partner for the weekend.
And a picture of the 37 pounder, notice the whitecaps in the background, it was very windy and nasty out there.
