We\'ll lose river access unless...

Please read these threads
"Scruffy Bearded Varmit" had done an excellent job reporting on the current status of legislative BS trying to circumvent the navigability issue of Oregon rivers. Developers, ranchers, and other special interests are attempting to call certain waters thier own. It's coming to a head people; now is the time to let our repersentatives know how we feel.
Thank you,

This is important, you might want to pay attention. Several land owner groups are trying to remove the floateage easement that currently we have on all streams in Oregon. How would you feel if tomorrow you couldn't float the Wilson, Clackamas, Kilches, Siletz or any other river section in which there is private land. Could you imagine asking every landowner on both sides for permission to float by? And if by some miracle you could get all but one to say OK you still could not float it because it would only take one to say no.

Protect what you now have or you may lose it. Call, write, fax and e-mail your State Senator to let them know how you feel about this issue. While you are at it ask them to find a way to fund the State Programs that matter to you!

This is a democracy, if you don't state your opinion to them they will ignore you.

Do you ever feel like a target in a shooting gallery? Kind of tired of having the sport I love targeted by special interest groups. See you in Salem.
