A good friend of mine is spending a few days with the family in Waldport and they want to chase a few salmon while they're there. Are there any charters going out of there (sorry, never been there before) or will they need to drive up to Newport? Also, any recommendations on charters or guides for a group of 4 to try and find an opening on a weekend?

No charters that I know of at Waldport. Not a real Bar for the crossing. Newport has plenty of charters but start with "The Blitz" they advertise on this board.
