Upper Columbia Steelhead Fall Fisheries Availability?

Was wondering who may know what fall upper Columbia Steelhead fisheries may come available this season? Was hoping for another Methow opener, but wonder what kind of numbers threshold might trigger that. Love to swing some flys there again before I get to old to be bank maggot. Thanks.

On the upper Columbia and Methow it's unlikely to open again this year. Last year's opener was the first in about nine years.

We need just under 10k over Priest Rapids to have a season (and ~1,300 wild). So far we're only to 7,643 and counts have dropped to under 100/day.

Thanks for responding. Hmm? There's 1314 wilds over Wells already? 3775 wilds over Priest Rapids. Dam counts have stopped since October 1st? Could the gov. shutdown prevent counting?

The dam counts are performed by Grant (or in the case of Wells PUD) for whatever reason priest is always two days behind. Looks normal to me.
