Skipping San Diego this year and headed to MX to fish on the “No Tuna No Chinga” again next month with my little brother and 4 good friends for a 4.5 day trip. As much as I love those San Diego trips I much prefer the MX in every way.

Every SD trip is a new & unique adventure. Got some great guys in our gang. The one guest of note is a guy I grew up with...literally. We both started out as deckhands around the same time. I would call the taxi at 4 a.m. to pick me up first, then go by his house. That was a long time ago. I can't wait to be on the boat with him. He says he's old & broken, but I know he's sand-bagging & will probably outfish everyone.

Good luck on your trip. Stay away from the island prison.

 

No tuna no chinga..lol..I'd personally rather fly and fish more days than steam and fish less..I've done both..and prefer less talking and more fishing..can keep.as much fish as you want to pay for on the flight back..

I have an 11 day on Spirit of Adventure at the end of October, last year I got a 279lb yellowfin, excited to see what this year has for us

No SD for me this year, Mark. Cedros with my son and Justin in 4 weeks, though. I miss the SD style, but can’t do it all every year…. I’m sure you’ll have an amazing time! We’ll stand by for the photos and report.

 

Enjoy your Long Range tip Mark, prepping for the trip is almoast as much fun as being on the trip. The past 5 years I have been going to Cedros instead of a Long Range trip. Now I am somewhat committed to Cedros since I now have my own Tackle Locker at the Toro's lodge at Cedros.
