Fished there yesterday for a couple hours midday. TONS of people fishing, even lots of boats trying for them. Water is high but has great color. The shad are in but they werent biting too well. I caught 5 in an hour and a half which isnt great by shad standards. 90% of people were using champagne colored jigs, a few used chartreuse. Colored jigheads helped too.
