Does anyone have a tv repair place they have had success with? I know it’s cheaper to buy a new one and I did that. However if I can get the broken one fixed as well I’d like to explore that be throwing in the landfill. We had another tv repaired about 10 years ago and that one still works. Unfortunately that fellow closed up shop apparently.

My neighbor gal across the street went to YouTube and figured it out. She learned which capacitor to replace and TV was good as new.

I had a similar issue happen earlier this year where our tv failed after 2 years of ownership, just outside the warranty (Go figure). Geek squad wanted to charge me 70% of what the TV cost to purchase just to fix it...they even told me it wasn't worth it...

There are places that recycle e-waste, and strip the valuable metals for themselves. I used to have a shop by one of them. No signs or any idea what the place was, due to the gold on site. They must of picked up their materials at a different drop off site.
