Maranatha was out Salmon fishing this morning, around 55 fathoms depth area....Jumping Tuna started hitting the Salmon gear. Apparently mucked up a couple of light Salmon rods. :eek:oo:

Jumpers were reported, however by the time he got the Tuna gear rigged, they had gone down and disappeared. He switched back to Salmon gear and moved inside a bit for more Coho action.

All inside of 6-8 miles outside of Depoe Bay.

This was all via Radio. I was not witness to the Tuna however, water temp was right..though obviously green water.

I went out this afternoon/evening with jigging gear, though never saw any jumpers, and never went out that far.

Not yet. Didn't have it this morning when I was out Salmon fishing. Still waiting on the rod clamp to arrive too. ... though that might not be enough to stop me from trying it out.

I plan on having it when I go out for Salmon in the morning. I may decide to hop on out and look for a few jumpers just to give it a try. :food:
