I just bought a TR1 gold. I'm going to install it myself, and am wondering if anybody has some pictures of how they ran the hydraulic hoses. I have a 17ft Customweld Sport, and I'm debating going through the top of the transom, or over the top. Any other tips would also be appreciated.

No pics but I have a central rigging tube in center of transon that is about 4" dia. I ran them out that. I did need to get extra Long hose from nauta.

I have a notch in the tramsome for the kicker and a enough clearance under my kicker transome clamp to allow mine to run over transome in between the screw clamps with the lines exiting out the bottom of the kicker mounting clamp for a short run to the steering piston. If your kicker is mounted on a welded bracket or lift bracket aft of the tramsome you will want to consider installing quality thur-hull fitting well above water line - nice clean looking setup.

It is too easy to get it right the first time to risk having it eat at you every time on the water because it looks crappy.
