I'm sure a fair amount of you have given these a try. What have been your results? I just haven't gained any confidence in them myself and have found them back in my tackle box after several times using them with no hook ups. They sure do thump hard but I'm not sure they are putting off the vibrations the fish are after at any speed. Has anybody had any good results with them? I have gone back to using the old trusty #7's in various color combos. I also don't see many of the guides using them, which tells me more.

I have used thumpers once or twice both time had good luck. I only use them in colored water. I put one on outside of the jetty once this year since nothing else was working. Same story fish had lock jaw that day.
I havent seen the need other times since the good old #7 seem to work well.

I would be courios if anyone has any other reports.

Not "thumper" the ifish guy, BT Thumpers. I assume by the lack of response nobody is really using them. Okay... Guess I'll have to go back to fishing corkies on the Trask  Just kidding Rick...
