EZ Loader galvanized trailer (3 weeks ago spent $500 rebuilding axle, hubs, and new tires.)
No motor. I ran this with a 20hp Honda and fished 3 guys regularly. A bit slow with 3 guys. Perfect for two. Would hit the rev limiter by myself. This would ideally be matched with a motor with an alternator as that is how I have the electrical set up. Alternately, you could use a trickle charger and shore power. I think you could get by with a 15hp. 25hp would boogie.
This was a rental crabbing boat for most it's life that would be pulled up on a dock daily. There are a bunch of tiny stress fractures ~1/4" that I hit with 3M 5200. I have moored this boat every spring and fall for the last three years and it's a dry boat. 5200 is forever. I also had some reinforcing welding done when I purchased it.
Good for a laugh every time out, "Hey! You're a long way from home!" "Yeah, better hurry up and get my fish cuz I have to get it back by 5:00."
