The Kilchis is high and muddy. It's brown, and a mile wide.
I fished it two days ago, thinking that it would be perfect.

No fish. :depressed: Well, I played one, for an instant, and it got off... but there is ONE fish in the river.

I'm really bummed about the Kilchis this year. I was so hoping for a good year.

Unless they are really late, there isn't much hope, in my mind. :depressed:

Jenny....Its still very early for the kilchis. Give it some time befor you get too bummed. My feeling is the Kilchis fishes best mid Nov. through mid Dec. Chris V.

Check the Wilson conditions. If the Wilson looks good, then the Kilchis should be as good or better. Its always the first to clear after heavy rains. I believe it has the latest run of Chinook for the area. Neat little river.
