For several years now I’ve noticed how the time that I spend on different parts of Ifish changes over the seasons. Since sometime early this year I’ve almost exclusively watched the Salty Dawgs page, with very little exception. Of course there’s the occasional foray into the classifieds or, god forbid, LiG.
Just the past week or so I’ve noticed the change. My boat is still in the driveway, loaded with tuna gear. But looking at the forecast and with a looming Idaho deer hunt, I’m sure that my saltwater season is over. My fingers are crossed for a late fall ling trip, but otherwise it’s time to put the boat away.
Before I even acknowledged this to myself this week, I had already been ten days into watching the hunting page. The seasons have officially changed. See you in the spring Salty Dawgs, I’m gone huntin.
