Been in most of em, and made a lot of memories. Left a lot of money and some DNA too. Been sober for twenty some years, and when I look back I remember the good times and some of the scrapes and bruises. Sure wish I'd spent more time on the bar at the river, and less time at the bar by the river. I'd probably have more tackle than Fishermen's and not so many creaks and groans in the Ol bod. What was the name of that Tavern across from Carrs? Used to hit it every Friday night, to cash my meager paycheck. Mumphy's after floating the Clack. High Rocks Tavern in Gladstone. Heart Beat in Oak Grove.

Valdez:
The Pipeline Club. Mean games of darts and shuffleboard and copious amounts of beer. Anything to drown out the karaoke.:passout: Smoke so thick, you had to wash your clothes 3 times afterward.
The Club Bar. A real dive, but a non workplace hangout.:applause:

Port Angeles:
Zac’s
Name escapes me, but it's at the end of Tumwater Truck Rte/Marine Drive. Lots of incriminating pictures taken there during going away parties. Cheap beer.:D

Dutch Harbor:
Elbow Room, to which I've had the dubious pleasure of being "escorted" out of a few times.

Kodiak:
Golden Anchor. I'd inlcude the Mecca, but that isn't a tavern, it's in a catergory all its own.:jester:

The Glass House Tavern where Sandy Blvrd and Lombard come together in Parkrose has bee in our family for well over 40 years. My Grandfather owned/operated it for about 15 years, then my father owned/operated it for the next 15 years. Now it's still in the family but my Dad has since sold the business portion and retired but still owns the property and building. Lots of memories of that place even back when I was a little kid going in there with my Grandfather back in the mid sixties.

One of the first places I drank underage

Imnaha Tavern with the Tanzy's(sp)
The Fort Tavern in Hoskins.

And lets not forget to go see Chuck down in Adel!

Back in my college days we used to go to a place called the Emigrant Lake Tavern, or "ELT" as we called it. It was very close to that lake, and there were fish to be caught, if ya knew how and where and when. (We did.)

Let's see, now. So many taverns, so little time. The old Fort Tavern in Hoskins until Steve Lowther bought it and shut it down. The Kings Valley Tavern until it burnt down. The Wren Tavern until somebody tore it down. Alsea Tavern was good back in the day when logging was still allowed over there - doors are locked. The Stein in South Corvallis until Pete and Dee retired and it shut down. My go to favorites now are Murphy's and Greenberry. The Alpine Tavern isn't too bad, but too far away. Country taverns = GOOD PEOPLE. MB.

Seattle

Andy's Tavern on 45th St NE. Now it is one of those coffee places Seattle is famous for. In its day for a hole in the wall dive they served up plenty of red beer and pickles.

During the summer it was beers at the Red Robin back when the RR was a beer place not a franchised burger barn. Sunshine and cold beverages on the patio,,, to turn back the clock.

How about Stanich's Ten til One on Fremont, remember the huge burgers?

Anybody remember cooking your own steak at the Inn Between in Welches?

The Mermaid, Charlie's Place and the Dirty D (aka Desdemona) in Astoria.
Mary's in beautiful downtown Jeffer's Garden.

I used to deal Blackjack at the Green Meadows. The greek was a friend of mine.
