My Tad's are changed over to Siwash. Off of the rear and belly eye, I put a small split ring, a #7 barrel swivel, another split ring, and a size 1 or 1/0 Siwash.

This method moves the hooks back, therefore increasing hookups. The barrel swivel also prevents losing the fish if it rolls while hooked.

Good luck.

while we are on the subject of plugs, are you using siwash on your warts and hotshots?

RR, yes, that is with 40 to 50 feet of line out and using 50# braided line. I also use 20# mono leader, never loose a good plug to a snag or a fish that way.
