Seems like there are a million ways to store tackle in the garage, I’ve wanted to build something that allows me to grab each tackle Box independently of each other for what ever type of fish I am going after with what ever method. And store a few bags or boxes as well. I had left over 3/4 inch ply so it’s over built but doubles as a small work bench on top.

Thought I would share in case anyone else needs inspiration or an idea for their tackle storage solution in there shop or garage.

So I have 3 vert rod racks and 1 horizontal
the one thatbgets the most use is a free standing 12 rod rack base is a wood box 24"x24" 48" tall center post and a 20" circle of cheap floor mats from harbor frieght I used an old pairing knife to cut holes in the mats just about a 1/4" in from the edge and then cut out at the thin spot.... last thing i used blue outdoor carpet to cover it.
stands in the corner I rotate the rods I am using at the moment with what I need ready.
If you want I can send you a pic

View attachment 1002056 Wreckless, here is a pretty simple one to make. You add or subtract the number of rod number as needed. I can give you the details if needed.
What size pvc pipe did you use and what was your spacing of the tubes? I was just getting ready to go buy some pvc pipe to build a wall rack but I like your design much better.
