How deep are most people fishing for summmer nooks in the Portland area. Is it shallow (15'-20')like the springers or deeper like last years (45') like last years fall fish?

Thanks,

John

John I have friends that are fish 10 to 15 ft with blue and chrome alvins, kwik fish and spinners. Some are doing excellent and limiting. Others are just fishing.

Gr8waves,

Seems shallower. I was doing good up near Camas in 13 feet of water last week. I think the guys in the fleet up near the buoys were in 5-20 ft.

LuredIn was getting them down a Govt' Island in around 18 feet of water.

A couple folks were getting them in a 30 ft trench a but upriver from where LuredIn was fishing.

Sounds like RayS's 30 feet or less covers it.

Some fat fish caught lately. I saw one over 35 lb on a blue wobbler. MrDorkfish got a beast on a silver/red bead spinner. LureIn hit them on spinners.
