do sturgon bite on a spoon?
i was fishing at CJ strike, and twice i hooked into a really big fish that just ook off, didnt shake its heads or anything...so could it have been that? :shrug:

Yes I have caught one on the lower Columbia on a wobbler, one on a spin n glo at Bonneville and on a spinner in Tillamook bay. Doesn't happen offen but a see a couple a year caught.

I've caught them on salmon spinners and shad gear up at bonneville. Or rather, I have hooked them. One of them was 7 ft+ and jumped 30 feet from the boat.
