Any reports out there about steelheading on the Snake or Clearwater Rivers, around Lewiston/Clarkston? Also can anyone recommend a guide to me for fishing steelhead in that area, Perferably one that goes out of Lewiston/Clarkston and fishes the Snake. Then I do not have to buy an out-of-state license. :hoboy: But if you know of a particular good one that fishes the Clearwater, I would be interested in that too!! Thanks!!

I can reccomend my dad, he is out of Clarkston. He fishes both the Snake and the Clearwater.

I don't know the board etiquette(since I am a newbie) here, so I will not put his website link up. But you may contact me at my email.

If I find out later that putting up his link is acceptable I will.

regards

Clearwater fishing is slow right now. The water is very low and ulta clear. They are catching more fish in the Snake. Bait fishermen are doing a little better then the trollers. Neither fishery is on fire. Need some colder temps and some rain would help the Clearwater.
