Talked to my kid, the coastie, at Brookings last night. I guess they had a rough day yesterday. A fast storm moved in and caught a lot of fishermen off shore and they had multiple rescues.
They've also been instructed to reopen the Rogue River SAR Detachment till activity slows down.
Fishing is still hot there.
