I’m looking for something on the small/medium side for trout/Kokanee etc. No way in hell I’m paying Yeti prices. But I’d like it to keep stuff cold and be durable. Any recommendations.

Rugged Made bags sold at Bob's Sporting goods store in Longview WA. Inside liner is water tight sealed so it doesn't leak and half inch closed foam padding to insulate. I've had mine hold ice for two or three days.

The reliable bags are the most durable and hold ice the longest but the seams do leak a bit. I haul them in the boat or the back of my pickup. I have a Canyon redfish bag I use in my car. Doesn't leak and holds a couple springers. Probably about the size you're looking for. Think it was $80 on Amazon. Has held up to 5 years of heavy use still looks new.

Bought this at Costco for less than $15.00. Has hauled bunches of bottom fish, coho and chinook on the smaller size. Insulated and water proof lining and very sturdy. Take it on all my fishing trips to haul miscellaneous stuff to the boat but doubles as a kill bag. Been a year and its still ticking. Best $15.00 I've spent on fishing crap! Does need a good rinsing every once in a while! 🤪

Its pretty flexible but 24L x 14W x 14 deep. Made by Keepcool Bags. I see Costco still has them on line and maybe some stores. Now $25. Was impressed when I loaded it with bottom fish and no punctures.

This got me thinking about the insulated hot/cold grocery bags available at my local market. They are $1 each and probably good for up to five trips. I think I'll pick up a few next time I'm at the store. I'll need to check for leaks but I normally use a heavy reusable plastic bag inside my trout cooler anyway. Just a thought...
