Anybody use silicone on their guns instead of Hoppes oil?

If you mean the silicone treated cloth by Hoppes yup it takes off (skin/unwanted)oil and seals the weapon, but acutally replace the use of oil with silicone, I havent.

I think they use silicone oil in air guns because it seals and lubes the internal components and prevents them from breaking down like some oils do. I know paintball guys that use it on their stuff too.
