Well two more days and we will be fishing out of Sekiu. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, then return to Spokane. It looks like the weather will be fine, but wondering if there are any silvers in the area. I hear there are lots of pinks. Would appreciate any info anyone has or recommendations. Thanks, and wishing everyone a tight line!!

Weeler- they'll be silvers out there, and the pink run should be on its last leg there. Although you never know about the pinks. When there is a run over 2 million, they just keep coming. For silvers- use heavier gear with no "pink" in it. Flasher and herring or flasher and hoochie. Fish fairly shallow all day. The pinks tend to dive to 60-80 feet for most of the daylight hours, than come up morning and night. Good luck. Let us know how you do.
tight lines!

Fished sekiu all week last week, coho top 10' herring spinner and a plugcut. pinks start at the surface and go to the btm. limited the boat within an hour every day. bite was about 6:45-7:15 and would last about an hour. hottest lure was a 2" fp special radint spoon.in shrimp pink or army red. had five rods go off at one time,,, way to much fun. plan on the wind at 1:00 every day . would die down about 6:30-7:00 great evening bite from 7:30 til dark.
after 5 days came home with over 200 lbs of filets.
