I know it sounds like a simple thing but like everything else out there there’s a bunch of choices and brands. I’ve got about 400 feet of 3/8 rope and a small bouy on the end. Going to need to be large size for sure. West Marine has an Anchor Caddie brand and I kinda liked that one. So what’s your choice on your boat. Thanks in advance.:)🇺🇸

I finally bought one last year. Love it!

The only thing I’d improve on it, or any other similar rope bag, is having stiffer sides. That way the bag would sit upright, allowing rope to be put back in the bag easier.

I’ve contemplated cutting out the bottom of a 3 gallon bucket to act as a rigid sleeve in mine, but I need to find one (or something similar), that is strong enough that I don’t have to worry about it cracking.

I have had AWESOME customer service from Anchor Caddie.

My previous boat had a powder coated Anchor Caddie anchor nest, that the powder coat was peeling off of. I contacted AC and they told me to send the anchor nest back to them. In two business days, I had a brand new anchor nest on my doorstep.

I have an anchor caddie… never really used it & not sure how it is any advantage over the standard 24” hank of Mule Tape wrapped and tied around a coil of anchorline. It’s quicker/easier for me to coil a long rope (born and raised a slalom skier) and tie it than to stuff it into a little bag.

I tried doing the looped rope method, but that didn't really work too well. I found that when I tried to unfurl the rope, it always got a tangle. The bag keeps all of my rope in an easy to stow, chuck, and tangle free way to manage my rope. I also love that my rope isn't all over the bow. This was dangerous for me as a trip hazard, as well as taking up storage on the bow.
