Not a 100% sure, but I think you can get premium bait in Gold Beach.
Jot's had it the last time I was down there.
Don't forget about spinners, they are at times, the secret weapon of choice.

The Outdoor Store in both Brookings and Gold Beach has anchovies and will put you on the right track.

Thanks folks, your insight is appreciated! Spinners are ready, just have to pick'em up. Anything green+, .Was years back, 5-7, bait wasn't available in the area, so I won't go unprepared, but will keep options open when I arrive. If the smile'in seas are with me I'll let you know. Luck to all. Fishings not a sport, it's a way of life to enjoy no matter the outcome.
